Can you tell I love to shoot at Longwood Gardens? I met the B family there last weekend--mom, dad and two beautiful girls who loved exploring the gardens. They found us a cool tree to sit in and these became my favorite shots of the session.

We raced a bit against the impeding weather for the H family shoot at Poole's Forge--the beautiful day got darker and darker, but we made it before the rain started.

We are very excited to have Elizabeth officially part of our family!

Almost the 4th of July and almost 4!

My youngest daughter will soon be 4! Her birthday is July 5th...well, her birthday was estimated in China and too bad they didn't pick the 4th--then she would think the fireworks every year would be in her honor! The last couple of years we have been in State College PA for a week long horse show and generally missed the 4th festivities...but this year we are staying home and hoping to celebrate her birthday with a day at the beach.

Laurel at one month

A few months ago, I met Laurel's mom for her maternity session at Longwood Gardens. Good thing we shot those photos when we did because Laurel made her appearance a month early!

I met her at her one-month-birthday for a photo session at her home.

Easter weekend I headed to upstate PA for a big shoot--three families...18 people! And such cute kids--here are a few of them...

Dana's maternity session

I had such a great time shooting this couple, expecting their first baby in April. They chose Longwood for the session, and spring was in full bloom in the conservatory. We also lucked out with wonderful mid 40-degree weather for February and were able to get some shots outdoors as well.

My daughter Olivia will be seven in a little over a week. We had a little fun taking some "pre-birthday" photos with her Ugly Doll Trunko hat.

 (Ugly Dolls are the rage in the first grade at her school....Olivia's teacher has a collection of them, and they help her teach the class, complete with special voices and sound effects and each has a distinct personality)

We've been enjoying warmer than normal weather for winter in central PA, which has been perfect for shooting the Mother's Day sessions outdoors. Although I am developing and indoor shooting space, I much prefer to shoot outdoors where we can fun locations and get more natural photos.

The deadline is March 19th so book soon!

The cost is just $40 for the session and inclusion into Lancaster Newspaper's Mother's Day session. I am also including a free 4x6!
