Grandparents day sessions!

I have a few photos in the newspaper's special Grandparents Day section, in the Sunday News this weekend.

Here's Jayden and his grandma...I met Jayden with his mom on a bitter old 20 degree day for Mother's Day photos, but he didn't shiver or complain one bit that day, and was all smiles. We had an opposite hot morning at a park for his session with his grandma...

Next up was Blanche and her three grandchildren. She has a beautiful property with lots of trees and a little creek.

And then the big extended Martin family!

Covered bridges are fun places to shoot!

day at Bridge Acres Stable

I had a blast at Bridge Acres Stable this weekend..with ten sessions over three days.

My oldest daughter started riding there when she was eight, and we had two horses during our years at BA--Little Bit and Red.

Two weekends ago I got to reconnect with some old friends and meet some of the new riders.

Paige and Max

Kara and Megabux....Susannah learned to ride on Mega...wonder how old he is now? Bet he can still escape from his stall and jump a fence!

Beth and I had lessons together quite a few years ago...now she owns this thoroughbred,
 Perfect Gentleman

Here's Brooke and Macho
And Ashley and Jackson...who at four was totally not phased by us climbing around this old fireplace
in the back field!

Katie and Frosty...love a litte grey pony!

Horses=Love. That's what it's all about. Maddy and Abner

Charlotte an Catie

Morgan and Rudy..aww! so cute!

Gorgeous!

Marilyn and Ripley..best of friends

contest winner

Last month I ran a little contest on Facebook to see who could refer the most friends to like my page. Unfortunately, shortly into the contest I realized Facebook had some rules that prohibit contests to gain fans. Although many many many pages still practice this, I decided to be safe I would end the contest, but still honor the person who brought the most "likes" to my page!

Caryl chose to have her four children photographed in Lititz, PA. They were troopers in the heat and we had a great time playing on the train, the railroad tracks, and in the creek.

Caryl's prize package included the one-hour session plus prints--a value of $100! Stay tuned here on the blog for the next contest.

Senior Session

My oldest daughter--who will be a college senior in the fall!-- wanted a photo shoot (this doesn't happen very often!) We contemplating bring then little girls along but then I knew the youngest would fall asleep in the car and wreak havoc on bedtime....So, we left them at home and chased the golden light around County Park.

I'm now booking senior sessions through the fall. Summer dates are filling up--use the tab above to send me an email to book your session.
Sixty minute sessions with up to three outfits --includes 30 images on CD or a print package just $250

Almost the 4th of July and almost 4!

My youngest daughter will soon be 4! Her birthday is July 5th...well, her birthday was estimated in China and too bad they didn't pick the 4th--then she would think the fireworks every year would be in her honor! The last couple of years we have been in State College PA for a week long horse show and generally missed the 4th festivities...but this year we are staying home and hoping to celebrate her birthday with a day at the beach.

And here are both the girls in their patriotic dresses...

Coming soon...an engagement session!
