My first grader is playing soccer this spring for the first time..she doesn't understand the rules yet and at the first practice didn't realize she had to run for the ball! But by the second she started to get it...our first game is Sunday.  Here are a few snapshots from practice:

Spring

The Mother's Day photos are finished and the disc will be heading to Lancaster Newspapers tomorrow! Final count: 26 sessions! With this winter being the weirdest and warmest on record here in PA, we only froze on couple of the outdoor sessions. Sunday's weather was absolutely fabulous for the last day of shooting at Lititz Springs Park.

In between all the mother's day shoots I was able to capture a few of my girls at Long's Park in Lancaster while they played and watched the ducks.

Fashion Shoot #2

I was contacted by two boutiques for the girls to model outfits in the same weekend...and it was right before I was leaving on vacation. Unfortunately the weather was freezing, so we did an indoor session.

And this peasant top and capri set coordinates with the dress. Olivia wants to wear this to school soon

and my oldest daughter got to model a skirt and top set....think I will borrow this for myself!

As many of you know, I had a boutique myself for seven years, so I appreciate cute and well made-in-the-USA clothing for kids

Do you get the sense here that my youngest is a real trip? She keeps us all on our toes here! Her exuberance is matched by her naughtiness!

Lots of Mother's Day Sessions!

I've been crazy busy with the Mother's Day sessions for Lancaster Newspapers. Since this is my first year participating, I had a goal of six sessions. By the deadline, I will have 26! I want to thank all of you again for choosing me as your photographer.

Here's a look at last weekend's sessions:

Jayden was a real trooper with the cold day--you'd never know it was 38 and windy!

This family opted for indoors at the Lancaster Convention Center--I loved this bench!

 Even though this was a Mother's Day session, I couldn't resist a photo of Holly and Hunter

 Sunday we were back in the cold at Greenfield Park...here's Mr Mason and his mom...
