soon the birthday girl!

 Olivia is having a birthday this weekend! These aren't the official birthday photos, but a few practice shots in the outfit she requested I make for her special day at school on Friday. This first one I gave what I'm calling the Vermeer look, after the Dutch painter...she seemed to have an old-world pose going on and it seemed to call out for an old-world vintage color treatment.

Red--this weeks i heart faces challenge

The theme this week over at i heart faces is red..and I love this photo. I took this the day before Natalie had her hand surgery. She just got these new red sneakers and had to take a nap in them. The next day she got her new thumb!

i heart faces...innocent wonder

During a fashion shoot of the girls today for my boutique and caught this shot of Natalie..

(did you count her fingers? She only has four on the left hand. She was born without a thumb but had surgery in October to give her one.)
